Y5 English In English, we are going to be learning 'how to write instructions for an outstanding play.' Some activities this week include: reading and judging different instruction texts, improving an instruction text and writing clear and concise instructions for a focus of your choice. This will be our final focus before the summer holidays.

For this week’s home learning, in addition to the usual Maths and English, there is also some Science, RE, French and a Picture News activity. MyMaths homework is set on a Monday and is to be completed by the Thursday. Your child may also be given 'Talk Homework' on a Thursday night which needs to be completed and brought back in on Friday morning, ready for Extended Writing. Y5 children are also expected to go on Reading Plus as much as they can to help with their reading.
